Education Programs
Sunday School, Senior High Bible Study, and Adult Bible Study are held Sundays from 10:40-11:30am.
No education programs on January 31, 2010 as we celebrate LWLC's new beginnings in 2010 at the church potluck.
Sunday School
- Mission Project - Shoes and Socks for Chinese Orphanage
We are excited to announce that Cathy Grosz will be taking over 40 pairs of shoes and over 150 pairs of socks with her to the Chinese Orphanage January 8, 2010. Cynthia Faul even helped with the baggage costs. This is an exciting gift from the LWLC congregation and sunday school programs. Thank you so much for your support in making this a successful donation/gift.
- Please register your child for Sunday School and confirmation. You can download the form (Sunday School/Confirmation Form), fill it out, and then bring it with you on Sunday. If your child is ready for confirmation (grades 7 & 8), please write "confirmation" on the grade line.
- All Sunday School teachers have been screened by the Washington State patrol and have signed agreements stating that they will teach according to the mission and beliefs of Living Word Lutheran Church.
Youth Group
- The Youth Group meets on Sundays at the LWLC Office from 6-9pm.
- LWLC Youth Group is assembling care packages for the homeless. Please contribute the following items: granola bars, packaged dry meats such as beef jerkey, travel size toiletries such as toothpaste, toothbrush, etc. There will be a collection box in the lobby before and after church January 24 and 31. Thank you for your support of their outreach project.
Adult Education
- Join our guest pastor, Reverend Gary Jepsen, for a bible study series during the education hour, 10:40-11:30am on Sundays, at Ballou Junior High.
